Biography

Born in Italy in 1999, Matteo attended the “Stanislao Giacomantonio” Conservatory in Cosenza, where he graduated in 2016 with top honors, summa cum laude, and an honorable mention. He furthered his studies at the ‘Luigi Cherubini’ Conservatory in Florence, earning his diploma in 2020 with top honors.

Since 2005, he has won prizes in more than 20 national and international competitions.

In 2012, she won the 4th “Marcel Tournier” International Harp Competition in Cosenza, repeating her success in 2016 at the8th edition in the open age category.

In 2024, she won first prize at the 13th Concours Français de la Harpe in Limoges and third prize at the 13th “Suoni d’Arpa” International Competition in Saluzzo.

Among her solo concerts, the following events deserve special mention: the “Morellino Classica International Festival” in Scansano in 2017; the “Strings City” festival in Florence in 2018 and 2019, the “Arthemisia Musica Classica International Festival” in Seregno in 2021, and the “Notturni contemporanei” music series in Cagliari and Sassari in 2025.

She furthered her studies under the guidance of internationally renowned harpists and instrumentalists, participating in numerous specialization courses and master classes.

In addition to solo concerts, she also performs in chamber music ensembles and orchestras. Since 2019, she has collaborated with the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Teatro Giuseppe Verdi in Trieste, the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, and the Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania.
